About Me

How did I become a therapist?

After nearly 25 years in the world of Financial Services, I made a bold shift—right into the fitness industry as a Personal Trainer.

Helping people get physically strong? That felt good.

But something was missing. I quickly realized that physical fitness is just half the battle. You can lift all the weights in the world, but if your emotional health is out of balance, you’re not really thriving.

This realisation, as well as my own life story led me to retrain as a Therapist. Why? Because life isn’t just about physical strength—it’s about mental and emotional resilience, too. By addressing all aspects of health, I’m able to offer a more complete approach to well-being.

I’ve spent years working with men as a trainer, and Mens group facilitator, helping them make meaningful changes in their lives.

Now, I’m combining that experience with my therapeutic training to support men in achieving balance and growth, both inside and out.

On a more personal note…

My journey with wellbeing started late in life - almost 10 years ago, when my wife hit the peri menopause, and everything in my life suddenly shifted.

Bottom line? I wanted to stay married. But I wanted to feel good to. So I got help, and it was invaluable. And yes, I’m happily married (25 years together).
