PTSD Therapy : Effective, Practical Help for Trauma Recovery

If you’re struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or the lingering effects of a traumatic event, you don’t have to go through it alone. I offer practical, evidence-based therapy to help you process and move beyond trauma—so you can regain control of your life.

How PTSD Affects You

PTSD isn’t just about flashbacks. It can show up as:

  • Constant anxiety, hypervigilance, or feeling on edge

  • Disturbing nightmares and poor sleep

  • Avoidance of certain places, people, or memories

  • Sudden anger or emotional numbness

  • Feeling stuck in the past, unable to move forward

These symptoms can make everyday life exhausting, but the good news is that PTSD can be treated effectively, often in just a few sessions.

A Proven Approach: Human Givens Therapy

I use the Human Givens approach, which is a powerful, structured method for reducing trauma symptoms quickly and safely. This is not about endlessly revisiting painful memories—it’s about rewiring the way your brain stores trauma, so you can move forward without being overwhelmed by the past. I am trained in the Rewind Technique which works in the same way as EMDR for the treatment of trauma and PTSD and CPTSD. I currently offer these sessions IN PERSON at the Therapy Life Centre in Essex only.

Specialist Support for Veterans

If you are a military veteran suffering from PTSD, you may be eligible for fully funded therapy sessions through PTSD Resolution

PTSD Resolution provides confidential, free treatment for UK armed forces veterans, reservists, and their families, helping them reclaim their lives from trauma.

Help for Anyone Affected by Trauma

While I work with veterans, my therapy sessions are also open to anyone struggling with psychological trauma—whether from an accident, assault, abuse, bereavement, or any life event that continues to impact your well-being.

You don’t have to stay stuck in survival mode. With the right approach, healing is possible.
